Having been in the financial services industry for over 30 years, I sometimes feel like “Been There, Done That” would have been a great name for this company.

Armed with a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Psychology, I turned my career sights on helping people understand the connection between emotions and money. I started out at a big wirehouse in 1985. After getting every numbered license you could think of, I moved to a regional broker dealer and ran my own firm as well as their in-house credit union program, managing 15 representatives. Wanting to expand my firm, I focused on growth through acquisition. During this time I successfully acquired 3 additional practices. In 2000, I formed Cents and Sensibility, a female friendly Advisory firm with my business partner. In 2006, I decided to leave the industry, and sold my share of the firm to my partner who runs it successfully to this day. However, escape from financial services was not in the cards, and I joined Junxure as the Director of their Consulting and Training Department. While at Junxure I created a team dedicated to helping firms get the most out of the CRM program. In addition, I worked with the development team to create new features to better serve clients. In 2014, I joined Ponder Financial Group, an Independent RIA, as a Managing Partner, a role which I continue to hold to this day.

With all of this history and experience, along with that of my talented and learned partner Jan, we decided to create our own consulting company, allowing us to share what we know — the good, the bad and the ugly.
